Was Born, Ample Rest, Initial Push, Started Walking

Everybody is blogging, bloody I will also blog - This was the thought that I had when I started to blog on December 2005. Just like that I created a blog in December 2005 and at the end of the month I forgot the URL of the blog. I had to goto my GMail to find out the blog URL. Two months later I logged in to check whether my ‘blah-gh’ existed or Google ditched it, my blog still had its majestic presence with zero posts, zero hits. Brilliant, I thought.

The blog was idle without any activity till May 2008. Till then my blog statistics read: zero posts, zero hits. Super. Blog took a rest for 2.5 years. Again, GMail helped me to get back to my ‘blah-gh’.

I started to blog at a snail pace in May 2008. The source of inspiration for me to start blogging was Vishwa (a.k.a PP). It is up to you to imagine what PP is; nevertheless to say PP is a discouraging demeaning depressing nick & sick name that Vishwa loves for the reason god only knows why ;-)) Now, that’s a nice way of introducing PP. He is a good and steady blogger. His active spirit to blog his thoughts, opinions and post gyan contents impressed me to start blogging. I started blogging by May 2008.

The ‘start-fast-and-let-it-die-fast’ syndrome didn’t spare me. My blog post counts reduced as time passed; these inversely proportional variables never go wrong. I happily put the blame on ‘Time’; I thought I don’t have time to blog. Instead of ‘writing’, I started ‘reading’ blogs by June 2008. One of the blog I stumbled upon was my colleague Vinay’s. Vinay is one of the busiest person of all whom I have met. His posts were good and he maintained a steady post count. I was surprised how he could be constant in post counts by maintaining the quality. I thought – If Vinay has the time to blog, then I should definitely have time to blog. From June 2008, I made time to post contents in my blog constantly. This works till date.

From zero hits, it has grown to a 5000+ hit site. I was very particular on one point - When the hit crosses 5,000 I would write this post. I dedicate this post to the Vee’s (Vishwa and Vinay).
