Today morning I went to a nearby small vegetable shop to buy vegetables (of course) :) The shop was filled with busy people, at least 10 people were there. There was only one weighing machine in the shop. Customers had to wait in queue and give the vegetables to the (shop)keeper and he will put in the weighing machine and bill us. This is the process :)
Shop Keeper (SK): Who's next?
KP: Yeah, can you weigh these potatos and tomatoes?
SK: Ok. hmm... Potato is 1 Kg, Tomato is 2Kg. Is this fine?
KP: Yeah, that's fine. I need 100 gms of Ginger.
(He pointed a corner of the shop where lot of sacks were sacked together. He said one of the sack has Ginger)
SK: Ok. There it is. Go, take it and come.
KP: Ok.
(I walked towards the sack and picked few pieces of Ginger and happily walked towards SK)
KP: Here it is, weigh for 100 gms of Ginger.
SK: Oh, sir, its not Ginger. Its Taro!! ('Senai Kilangu' in Tamil)
(Everyone laughed. I felt like shattering 1 large family size chicken pizza on my face. Shatak!!)
KP: Oh is it, ok. May be Taros were mixed with the Ginger sack. I will take Ginger this time.
TARO and GINGER.
Moral of this incident: When you are not sure of what you are buying, ask the people around.

what u confused with ginger is Taro Root- 'Sepang kizhangu' n not 'sennai kizhangu'. sennai kizhangu is YAM- not TARO!!!!
